Conditions Particular To San Bernardino County
Alluvial Fan Along The Foothills
From Upland through Rancho Cucamonga and into north Fontana, the ground is wash off the San Gabriels. Cobble and boulders in excavation are the rule, and they drive footing and pool cost more than anything else on the job.
Former Dairy Ground In The South
Chino, south Ontario and the Ontario Ranch area sit on the old dairy preserve. Organic-rich soils and buried agricultural infrastructure mean overexcavation is sometimes the correct answer rather than an upsell.
